Data we collect

• Enquiry data — name, email, optional review type, optional headcount band, and message content you submit.
• Technical data — standard server or hosting logs (IP address, browser type, timestamps) and cookie-related data as described in our cookie policy.
• Engagement data — if you become a client, payroll and employee-related data shared under a separate engagement outline and confidentiality terms.

Purposes

We use enquiry data to respond to review requests, prepare fee outlines, and keep records of communications. Technical data helps maintain security and understand aggregate site usage when analytics cookies are accepted. Engagement data is used solely to perform the contracted review.

Legal basis and fairness

We process enquiry data because you request a response, and because we have a legitimate interest in operating a professional services practice. Where Malaysian personal data protection rules require consent for optional analytics cookies, we seek that consent via the cookie banner.

Retention

Enquiry records are kept for up to 24 months after the last meaningful contact, unless a longer period is required for an active engagement or legal claim. Server logs are retained according to our host’s standard cycles, typically no longer than 12 months. Engagement working papers follow the retention period stated in the engagement outline.

Sharing

We use hosting and email providers who process data on our instructions. We do not sell personal data. We may disclose information if required by Malaysian law or to establish or defend legal claims.

International transfers

Our primary operations are in Malaysia. If a processor stores data outside Malaysia, we take reasonable steps to ensure appropriate safeguards consistent with applicable requirements.

Your rights

Subject to Malaysian personal data protection law, you may request access to, correction of, or limitation on processing of your personal data, and you may withdraw cookie consent for optional analytics. Children

The site is directed at business professionals. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
